Electric drive 21-7 S
Line of electric motorizations for in-boom Made furling systems. Now available for sailing yachts with a boom length from 5 to 22 m.
The innovative drive contains a reduction gear, an electric motor and a brake. Most importantly all integrated and protected inside a single cylindrical structure to fit in the mandrel.
The Electric drive 21-7 S comes with slots where the mainsail tack is tied on. Likewise the standard motorization has a simple boom toggle or with the special boom toggle that integrates the manual emergency clutch.
The drive works with a Boxtron E14 plc controller which electronically controls the working load. BFBMESS 280 and 360works with a customized Boxtron to control the electric supply. Furthermore, it is important to highlight that both furling and unfurling operations are electrically controlled. As a result the furling never has been easier.
The complete set comes with an axle that runs through the mast and therefore can be mounted in a very solid way. The axle also contains a winch handle unit to operate the boom manually in case of an emergency.
